Future Award of the Ewald Marquardt Foundation

Dominik Baumann and Sebastian Trimpe receive a future award by the Ewald Marquardt Foundation for their research on wireless control and its application potential.

 

In Fall 2020, the award ceremony for the future award of the Ewald Marquardt Foundation took place. A second prize was awarded to the research on wireless control for cyber-physical systems carried out by Dominik Baumann and Sebastian Trimpe at the Institute for Data Science in Mechanical Engineering (formerly Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems), Fabian Mager and Marco Zimmerling at TU Dresden, and Romain Jacob and Lothar Thiele at ETH Zurich. The Ewald Marquardt Foundation assigns the future award every two years for outstanding innovations and ideas in the area of control engineering.
