Ich bin Doktorand am Institut für Data Science im Maschinenbau (DSME) der RWTH Aachen, wo ich von Prof. Dr. Sebastian Trimpe betreut werde.

Bevor ich als Doktorand an das DSME kam, habe ich drei Jahre am IMA als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Bereich der industriellen Anwendungen von KI gearbeitet. Vor meiner Zeit an der RWTH habe ich vier Jahre lang in der Entwicklung von IOT- und ML-Lösungen für die Agrarindustrie in Lateinamerika gearbeitet.

Ich habe einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Mechatronik-Ingenieurwesen an der EIA Universität (Kolumbien) und einen Master-Abschluss in Ingenieurwesen an Arts et Métiers ParisTech (Frankreich) gemacht.

Meine Forschungsinteressen liegen in den Bereichen der "Explainable Artificial Intelligence" (XAI) und der angewandten KI. Ich interessiere mich für die internen Repräsentationen, die von neuronalen Netzen erlernt werden, und dafür, wie diese Repräsentationen mit für den Menschen verständlichen Konzepten zusammenhängen. Genauer gesagt, interessiere ich mich für Methoden zur Konzept-Extraktion und zum aktiven Lernen und deren Einsatz in industriellen Anwendungen.
