Ich bin aktuell Doktorand am Institut für Data Science im Maschinenbau (DSME). Meine Forschung befindet sich an der Schnittstelle zwischen maschinellem Lernen und Kontrolltheorie, der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf Lernmethoden mit rigorosen Garantien sowie der systematischen Verwendung von Vorwissen beim maschinellen Lernen im Bereich der Regelungstechnik.
Nach dem Abitur 2011 habe ich Mathematik mit Anwendungsfach Informatik an der Universität Bayreuth studiert und 2015 mit dem BSc abgeschlossen. Danach habe ich an der Technischen Universität München studiert (MSc in Mathematik 2019) sowie der University of Cambridge (MPhil in Computational Biology 2017). Während meiner Studien wurde ich dankenswerterweise durch das Max Weber-Programm Bayern gefördert. Ab September 2019 war ich Doktorand in der Intelligent Control Systems Gruppe am Max Planck-Institut für Intelligente Systeme (Stuttgart) sowie Associate Scholar bei IMPRS-IS und wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Mathematische Systemtheorie an der Universität Stuttgart. Im Januar 2021 bin ich an das Institut für Data Science im Maschinenbau (DSME) an der RWTH Aachen gewechselt.
