PhD students Pierre-François Massiani, Christian Fiedler, and Paul Brunzema from the Institute of Data Science in Mechanical Engineering (DSME) had the opportunity to attend in the Cambridge ELLIS Unit Summer School on Probabilistic Machine Learning 2023 at the University of Cambridge.

The Summer School had over 130 participants and over 18 leading researchers gave talks and presented their work. The DSME researchers were able to present their current research in poster sessions and see the work of others in a farewell reception. There was also plenty of time to network with other participants from across Europe, e.g., at a formal dinner at Sidney Sussex College or at Much A Do About Nothing at the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival.
