Friedrich Solowjow receives Südwestmetall-Förderpreis for outstanding dissertation
Dr. Friedrich Solowjow was awarded the "Südwestmetall Förderpreis" on April 19, 2023 for his dissertation "Event-triggered Learning" at the University of Tübingen. The Südwestmetall Förderpreis recognizes outstanding achievements by young scientists at Baden-Württemberg's nine state universities.
The prizes are awarded for outstanding dissertations that are of particular importance to the industrial sector or its socio-political environment. Currently, Dr. Solowjow is working as an Akademischer Rat and deputy head of the institute at the Institute for Data Science in Mechanical Engineering (DSME) at RWTH Aachen University and is developing AI methods that are tailored to dynamical systems.
