DSME Kick-off Retreat

The DSME had its first retreat, where the whole team gathered in Aachen. Despite certain restrictions due to the Corona situation, it was exciting for all team members to finally meet in person– after many virtual meetings. There were many opportunities to bond during exciting scientific discussions or while enjoying a delicious barbeque. While our journeys home were quite different and lead some of us to Stuttgart and Tübingen, we are all excited about our common goals and continuing to build up DSME together!
